Fighting Joint Pain in Winter



One of the other winter pain areas which affects people is Arthritis. People with arthritis experience more pain during winter than other season

Arthritis is a disease in which all most all joints pain full. Finger, hand, knees ,elbow ,ribs , jaw and other joint. It is any inflammation of the joint either one or more in our  body.
           

According to Ayurveda when dushit vata  stuck in joint they become painfull and this condition is known as arthritis.when dushit vata along with aam stuck in joint  and this condition known as Aam vata. I will writing more about vata and Aam later in my other post.
It is Auto immune diseases.

It is majorly caused due to reduced  flow of blood in any joint due to old age , injuries, bad postures, virudh anapan, mix food , eating  frozen food. Basically it is a lifystyle disorder which may also occur due to eating Junk food, Eating heavy to digest food and  lifting weights beyond our capacity.

This disease is more irritating with cold  season as the flow of blood to joints is reduced in winter season.
   
Symptom of Arthritis :     It is inflammation of one  or more joints of our body pain,  muscular 
stiffness,  pricking sensation swelling, redness ,movement restrictions.

In chronic conditions insomnia , depression deformation of joint.


CURE

In ayurveda there is possibility to control and cure  this disease and make our life problems free.

Arthritis is most frequent cause of physical disability among older adults, but also it is becoming more wide spread among younger people.

Few steps to reduce the arthritis or Joint pain in winter.
     
·       Massage regularly help to reduced pain and stiffness . Massage will help to improve their movements and blood flow  and make we feel better to do the job.
·       Move to improve: Do not sit in the same position for prolonged period of time. Take a walk or move from your place after few minutes.
·       Ginger :can increase blood flow and also act as anti inflammatory chemicals away from pain full joint.
  • o    Ginger 1tspoon + honey  2tspoon use empty stomach.
  • o    Ginger Powder 1tspoon  + Turmeric 1/2 tspoon with warm milk twice daily.
  • o    Ginger juice 1tspoon + 2tspoon Honey in morning empty stomach.
  • o    Ginger juice + papaya juice + rock salt once daily.


·       Turmeric :It helps bring down swelling .This is because it has Curcumin which stops swelling. 
o   Turmaric powder with warm milk..daily gives good results.
o   Turmeric powder + Ginger powder + Methi seeds with warm water twice

daily.
o   Turmeric + Pippalmod with warm water  twice daily.

·       Clove:Clove also has anti inflammatory chemicals call Eugenol which helps against the pain of arthritis. It contains anti oxidant that gives relief from pain.

·       Cinnamon:give relief from joint pain and other symptoms
o   1/2tspoon Cinnamon+1tspoon Honey.once daily.




   Pranayam  Anulom Vilom can also help to reduce the pain.


Precaution
One of the major precaution to be taken in arthritis is to avoid dry food , cold  frozen food ,curd ,heavy to digest food.

  1. Most of the people are suffering the Joint Pain problem in the winter season. Pranayam is best treatment for joint pain, if we take Joint Pain Remedies then we get relief from joint pain.
