How to Use Turmeric

•Turmeric is used to treat external ulcers that respond to nothing else. Turmeric decreases Kapha and so is used to remove mucus in the throat, watery discharges like leucorrhea, and any pus in the eyes, ears, or in wounds, etc.

How to use it
1. Turmeric Tea
Ingredients
  • Half a tsp. of fresh, grated turmeric
  • Black pepper
  • Lime and raw honey to taste
  • A cup of water
Preparation
Boil one cup of water and add the turmeric. Let the mixture simmer for five minutes before straining it and adding the rest of the ingredients. Your turmeric tea is ready. A quicker way to prepare this tea is adding turmeric pieces in the tea vessel.
