Every season has its own characteristics that influences the habit and
lifestyle of every person. Changes in season brings changes in our life.

Every Ritu brings its pros and cons. Due to variation of seasons,
To avoid the variation in body and imbalance created by change of seasonn ayurveda suggest
a seasonal routine of particular diet and lifestyle.
All this help in keeping mind body in equilibrium and help you to cope up
with changing season.
Winter is termed Hemant Rutu in ayurveda.
It causes health problems when suitable precautions and safety measures
are not taken.
Due to the digestive level being very high in winter people feel
hungrier and can actually digest food better in this season thus nourishing
their bodies more.
Some food we can use in this season (winter) :
Some foods like nuts, seeds and root derived Vegetables warming herbs
like ginger, garlic, Black pepper, turmeric.

Turmeric (हल्दी): keep you warm in cold add it in milk or to your dal &

warms up your body they helps your muscles use more oxygen & boost the immune
system.
Jaggery (गुड़) : It helps you fight against winter
infections and also great aid for cough when consume with ginger and honey.
